Feb. 25: The Elegant Wedding Event

Special Occasions Network is tweaking the format of its annual wedding event. Renamed "The Elegant Wedding Event," the show will have only one vendor for each of 15 categories, and dresses will be modeled through the entire four-hour event. Special Occasions Network President Martha Wright says she hopes the new format will make the event more like a reception and less like a show. Free. Noon to 4 p.m. Wellington Place, 325 Park Central East, Springfield. For information, visit specialoccasionsnetwork.com.
