Nate Fredrick and Liz Carney Team Up
Our anticipated wait for new music from Nate Fredrick is almost over. Fredrick releases “Over Now” featuring Liz Carney on October 6 through iTunes. Pre-order link below.
Springfield native Nate Fredrick is making waves in his music career. In 2015 he moved to Nashville to expand his horizons and released his first album, Outside The Lines. Fredrick has performed on Today in Nashville and periodically returns home to play. Liz Carney, of Ozark jazz band Izabel Crane, has an alluring voice that is enchantingly beautiful and dark all at the same time.
These powerful musicians have come together to create a hauntingly beautiful single about heartbreak titled “Over Now.” “It’s a mellow ballad about the way we feel in a relationship. When it all comes to an end, and you are racking your brain as to how it all came to pass and the good and bad emotions that come with that turmoil,” Fredrick says. With Shaun Munday on bass, Fredrick’s Dave Matthews-like sound and Carney’s dark romantic vibe, listeners can truly feel the emotion pouring out in the lyrics: “And all the times we scream and shout, why couldn’t we just work it out? I pushed you away. But I wasn’t running from you, I was running from me. But I guess it’s over now.”
Fredrick and Carney release their single October 6. Preorder it here.
