To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the death of Confederate Major General Sterling Price, Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield opens a new temporary exhibit displaying several of Price’s personal effects from the Civil War. See his Colt Dragoon revolver, eyeglasses, binoculars, snuffbox and a medallion. Also available for viewing are a second revolver on loan from the general’s family, as well as other related artifacts from the park’s collection of Civil War memorabilia.
