Job title: Digital Marketing Coordinator 

 

Description: Responsible for creating and executing digital strategies and marketing tactics to attract, retain and engage current and new audiences in targeted segments within the 417 orbit. Target segments can include but are not limited to the 417 brand as a whole, 417 events, contests and promotions, 417 Tix and 417 subscribers. The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing all client digital marketing campaigns from beginning to end and being the expert within the company. 

 

Responsibilities:‚Äč

  • Strategize, build, track and monitor the effectiveness of online initiatives; generate analytics reports and tweak social strategy and content based on results. Set and deliver on tangible KPI's from social (ie. audience growth, engagement)

  • Stay on top of key industry trends, competitive insights and emerging social media platforms; make sure 417 is at the forefront of best practices in social, on both existing and new platforms. Assess opportunities with emerging social platforms.

  • Develop best practices based on results, industry trends, and competitive audits, and socialize these findings with the marketing, digital and sales teams

  • Develop and execute print subscriber conversion campaign tactics and serve as the in-house expert on, and champion of, Subscription Genius

  • Concept and write messaging for all marketing projects as needed.

  • Attend and work all signature projects to maximize audience engagement and promote the 417 brand

  • Point of contact and champion for third party digital marketing partners

  • Builds strong value propositions and proof points aligned to internal client goals that set the solution apart.

  • Setup, upload and maintain campaigns

  • Understand usage, overlap, extension, amplification, local for programmatic, direct marketing and personalization.

  • Meet with clients to review results and make recommendations.

     

Education Requirements and Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of digital marketing/ partner management experience

 

Skills and Strengths:

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and immersion in the social space i.e. Website, Instagram, Facebook, Snap, Twitter

  • Proven track record of executing social media strategies to drive growth

  • Understanding of and experience with all audience development channels - SEO, social, newsletter, partnerships, programmatic buying, etc.

  • Familiarity with analytics platforms. Must be versatile and able to adapt to constantly changing marketplace and environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail

  • Ability to stay ahead of trends and adapt to new and changing social media platforms

  • Strategic vision

  • Drive to seek patterns within analytics and strength in optimizing and pivoting based on that knowledge

  • Socially fluent voice

  • Organizational skills and is detailed oriented 

  • Intrinsic motivation to work independently yet still be a team player

  • Management of a workload with multiple projects and competing deadlines

Evaluations and Outcomes:

  • The position will be evaluated after 90 days with quarterly reviews.

  • Future: Educate and train clients to build audience-first tactics and performance strategies across messaging, content, consumer experience and retention. Attend meetings with Account Executives to upsell solutions, review analytics and recommend future tactics.

 

Environmental Requirements:

  • Mainly sedentary in an office environment with the exception of event days

  • May be required to lift up to thirty (30) pounds

  • Flexible in working extended hours
