Dr. Tom Hoff, DDS, 29

Dentist, Dental Care of Nixa

Since graduating in 2008 from the University of Missouri–Kansas City’s dental school, Tom Hoff (who did his undergrad at Drury University, where he played soccer) has been building a solid dental practice in Nixa. He’s big on promoting the fact that dentistry isn’t the factory of horrors a lot of people think it is and, with preventative care and advanced technologies is hoping to change perceptions. Flat-screens in every exam room don’t hurt, either, he says. Hoff works on the Ronald McDonald House’s Tooth Truck usually one day a week, and he helps coach soccer at Springfield Catholic High School.—M.L.
