Weather Wasn't Permitting
F or more than a year and a half, 417-land’s top designers, suppliers, builders, home designers and others have been working together to build a dream home in Branson Hills. Their hard work hit a snag last month when the summer’s constant wet weather made it impossible to move forward on certain vital steps in the building process. The tours of the completed home (which were originally planned for late August) are being moved back to the first two weekends in October, giving the project some much-needed wiggle room. But stay tuned for more Idea Home updates, as we approach completion and the home’s big unveiling in the Fall issue of 417 Home in October.
The 10,000-square-foot 417 Idea Home will be jam-packed with design ideas, and the tours of the home do a little good for the community, too. They benefit the Ozarks Regional YMCA and Skaggs Foundation. Plus, the ticket purchase includes a one-year subscription to 417 Home. To sign up to volunteer or to purchase tickets, visit 417mag.com.
