As 417 Magazine’s Creative Director, I pull inspiration from all over. Design is a passion of mine, and when I’m out scouting products to feature in the magazine, I run across items I just have to share with our readers. I’ve been doing a lot of daydreaming about my summer in Paris when I was back in school, and nothing says French interiors to me like black and white. The great thing about this stunning combo is it works as a neutral. Pair it with florals, colors, even plaid, and you will add instant attitude to your space.
1. Busy Body: Nothing gets you motivated to get to work like G.R. Gipson office supplies (clipboard $14.95, address book $9.95, both at Baglady Boutique). The line has adorable journals, notebooks and calendars in an array of patterns and colors.
2. Gator Girl: There is something utterly chic and powerful about this alligator-adorned box ($229 at James Décor). I imagine this sitting on a coffee table hiding TV remotes or on a desk for added organization. Reptiles are a hot trend right now!
3. Suds & Stripes: This adorable soap dispenser ($22.99 at Brown Eyed Girl) would go perfectly in a floral bathroom or kitchen. I especially love the brass top.
4. Posh Purse: The pattern on this Kiawah Portal wallet ($59 at BagLady Boutique) is so regal, and I Iove the little brass lock for the closure. This pattern is sold in several shapes and sizes, so you can have the whole set if you like.Edit ModuleShow Tags
