The February issue of 417 Magazine is the most important issue each year, when readers of the magazine express their preferences on the people, places and things that make our corner of the world pleasurable and exciting. Our goal is to be a reference tool, allowing readers’ opinions (and our commentary) to be summed up in one neat article with beautiful photo illustrations.

How do we do it? Each September, we send out a hard-copy survey with our print edition, and we place an online ballot right here on 417mag.com. Any reader of 417 Magazine may vote in the readers’ poll. This year, we had reader-voters from all over southwest Missouri, but also from as far west as Honolulu and as far east as London.

Please share your reactions, ideas for 2008, or whatever comes into your mind, and e-mail me personally at editor@417mag.com.
