Lakeside Living

Lakeside development is exploding in the Tri-Lakes region. You don't have to be a rocket scientist or a real-estate genius to figure that one out. The question is, why now? The lakes didn't just show up overnight. They've been around longer than the Baldknobbers have been performing in Branson-nearly 50 years that is. And at age 93, Taneycomo is older than Andy Williams! Yet it's as if folks are just now discovering the pristine waters of Table Rock, Taneycomo and Bull Shoals lakes. Why is that?

In my quest to find out why lakeside living has become such a wildly popular concept, I talked to real-estate agents, land owners, developers, property managers and more. And here's a snippet of what they had to say: "Real estate prices, while they are going up, are still competitive and reasonable here." "It's peaceful here." "It's safer here-folks are moving inland from the coasts." Oh and... "Baby Boomers have money, and they want to spend it."

So, read on to find out more reasons why lake living is booming. Plus, discover some of the hottest lakeside developments to date. And if you haven't already gone lakeside, you'll want to after you see some of the breathtaking lake view images we captured.
