From the suburbs of Chicago to 417-land, Jeff and Sandy Malone emptied their nest and took flight to build their dream home in southwest Missouri.

Wide open spaces: The Malones' home has an open layout and high ceilings that make the living space- with lots of seating- feel large.
A great room connected to the kitchen sits adjacent to the dinning space. A large 6-by-7 foot island in the kitchen is the centerpiece for the high-ceilinged area.
Eating options: The Malones brought an antique dinning set from their home in Illinois
The cozy living area is complete with comfortable furniture and a fireplace.
The master suite is complete with a travertine tile floor in the bath along with a jetted tub and walk-in shower.
The Malones' "yellow room" is a place to showcase antiques. There's also a chandelier they brought from their Naperville home and a white wrought iron bed.
One of the bathroom's of the Malones' household focuses on simple details.
