Behind the Design: Storage for Garden Goodies

With our gardens and the farmers markets brimming with fresh produce this season, I need some inventive ideas for what to prepare with it all, and this book, First Prize Pies, has some of the most special and unique recipes. The pie names will have you laughing out loud!

As 417 Magazine’s creative director, I pull inspiration from all over. Design is a passion of mine, and when I’m out scouting products to feature in the magazine, I run across items I just have to share with our readers. This July I’m looking forward to all the homegrown produce that will fill my kitchen, and I want to be prepared. I always do some canning, but I was excited to see other inspiration and storage ideas for my garden goodies.
