Rock Cottage Gardens

Thorncrown Chapel is a beautiful glass structure designed by renowned Ozarks architect, E. Fay Jones. It stands 48 feet tall and has 425 windows. For the Outdoors-Lovers:
Petit Jean State Park

Stay in the honeymoon creek cabin at Petit Jean State Park for a rustic romantic rendezvous. It features a separate hot tub room. Cost is $175 per night. You may also use the swimming pool on the property. Visit petitjeanstatepark.com.

Mount Magazine State Park

Mount Magazine, at Mount Magazine State Park, is the highest point in Arkansas at 2,753 feet. The lodge has 60 guest rooms. Request a room with a whirlpool tub and king-size bed. Rooms are $104 to $164. There’s an indoor swimming pool and hot tub on the property. Thirteen cabins feature wrap-around porches and hot tubs. From the porch, enjoy the view of the Petit Jean River Valley and Blue Mountain Lake. Cabins are $199 to $259 in the summer.

There are plenty of activities for the outdoors-lovers, including hiking, backpacking, rock-climbing, rappelling, hang-gliding, horseback riding, geocaching, bird-watching and more.

Dine at the Skycrest Restaurant, and enjoy at view of the Petit Jean River Valley below, Blue Mountain Lake and the Ouachita Mountains.

Chateau Aux Arc Vineyard & Winery
Stop in the new tasting room to try new vintages, and take in a beautiful view of the Arkansas River Valley from your perch atop St. Mary’s Mountain.
