Sweet New Store

Elle’s Patisserie, Elle Feldman’s darling sweets and baked goods shop, got a face-lift this spring. New features include indoor seating, a macaron display case, eye-catching Murano chandeliers and more. Also revamped, the menu now offers expanded coffee offerings, baguette sandwiches and other new goodies.

Brew-haha

Long known for its creative comfort food, Instant Karma Gourmet Hot Dogs (527 S. Main St., Joplin, 417-206-3647, joplininstantkarma.com) was recognized by CraftBeer.com readers as one of the Best Beer Bars in America. The site lauded the spot for its rotating beer menu, beer-pairing dinners and more. 

New Sippin’ Spot

Wine lovers, take note: The downtown Springfield space once housing Blue Bull, which closed last year, will soon be home to The Wine Dive. Word is that the wine bar—helmed by Micah Pope, bartender at Scotch & Soda and former wine director at Flame Steakhouse—is slated to open this summer.
