Glamorous Wash Review

Not long ago, I kept seeing nondescript bottles of something called Glamorous Wash show up on my newsfeed from fancy friends who were raving about this fancy laundry detergent. 

I use unscented All. I get it at Target. Sometimes, I use coupons. I had to wonder, “Am I fancy enough to use this glamorous stuff?” My hesitation was the price tag: $28.99 for a measly 32 ounces. But I decided to try it out, so I headed to Brown Derby International Wine Center (where they sell Glamorous Wash and lotions, candles and more from the same line). I opted for the High Maintenance scent, whose spicy blend of warm vanilla, patchouli, musk and a dash of floral won me over. 

Back at home, I poured that liquid gold into my trusty front-loader and shoved my bed sheets into the barrel. When it was time to slide under the clean sheets, I was ecstatic. My entire bedroom smelled incredible. I realized that I want to smell like that detergent all day. I want the people around me to smell it. I want to be the woman who smells like Glamourous Wash every single time I hug you. 

My official review? The detergent’s smell is just as lovely and enduring as advertised. It’s worth the cost—but maybe just every now and then.
