If you’re craving a plate full of Brazilian-style grilled meat or glass of Argentine wine, Chef Angel Kim has a near-monopoly on South American cuisine in 417-land. His first venture, Argentina Steakhouse, opened more than eight years ago, and his most recent restaurant, ReRico (formerly known as Rodizio) has been open nearly three years. At this month’s 417 Cooking Class, Kim will prepare dishes from each of his restaurants, including crab cake with white peach avocado salsa, spinach tuna salad with strawberry vinaigrette, bacon-wrapped sirloin steak, Provençal potatoes, smoked gouda cream sauce and warm mocha cheesecake.
