Touch restaurant’s Chef Mike Jalili shares a few of his favorite recipes with this month’s 417 Cooking Class.

From the salmon dip to the baby burgers, Touch’s menu is filled with deliciousness. The restaurant’s head chef, Mike Jalili, says coming up with these creations isn’t too scientific. “Sometimes they come from talking with people, anyone, sometimes other chefs, sometimes guests, sometimes servers, anyone,” he says. Jalili recently expanded the tapas menu at Touch, and this month’s cooking class will be changed up a little, too. Jalili will be preparing the restaurant’s famous bacon-wrapped dates, plus goat cheese, hummus with charmoula and cucumber yogurt, spinach salad, lobster bisque, beef short ribs, crème brûlée, chocolate-covered strawberries and chocolate torte.
