Keri was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, but moved to Springfield when she was 2. She met her husband, Tyson, in high school. Keri attended Missouri State, and Tyson went to Drury University, then the University of Missouri for law school. Tyson is a partner at Catt Cole & Martin in Springfield. They have two children, 8-year-old Jackson and 7-year-old Preston.—C.W.

What are three words that describe you?
“Giving. Confident. Family-oriented.”
What’s your favorite way to spend a Saturday?
“At the lake, floating on the water, doing nothing. Just sitting. It’s my happy place.”
What was your best date ever?
“Tyson and I had a picnic at the farm, just the two of us. He packed this whole picnic with cheesecake and a bottle of champagne. Not really for anything specific, just a fun date.”
What do you think makes a woman beautiful?
“The inside definitely. Personality and confidence make a woman beautiful.”
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
“That I’m like my grandmother.”
What’s your favorite feature about yourself?
“Probably my giving nature is my favorite thing about myself.”
What has been your proudest moment, or what are you most proud of?
“I’m most proud of my children.”
When you were a little girl, who did you admire the most?“Wonder Woman.”
What’s your favorite source of inspiration?
“My Bible. My favorite verse is from Isaiah 30:15. ‘In quietness and confidence shall be her strength.’”
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Cherish every moment.”
What’s your biggest goal in life?
“To be able to say that I lived life to the fullest without regret.”
What are your hobbies?
“Photography. Probably my kids’ sports. We do a lot at the farm and a lot at the lake. I’m a water-skier.”
Who is your celebrity crush?
“I’m on Team Jacob.”
What is your most prized possession?
“My picture albums.”
What is your Facebook status right now?
“It’s a quote from my son Preston. ‘Well yea, I would argue with that block. Everyone knows I would win.’”
If you could invite anyone to dinner, who would it be and why?
“Jesus Christ. I would want to tap into his wisdom, and how he lived through adversity. And how he was a witness for so many others.”
