Cooking Class: A Sneak Peek
Cooking Class: A Sneak Peek

Photo Kevin O'Riley

We had a wonderful 417 Cooking Class last night with Chef Marc Giacin of Mille’s Turn of the Century Cafe. We were all impressed with the sweet potato bisque, and even thought it seemed like something we could attempt in our own kitchens at home. Pick up a couple of sweet potatoes next time you are at the store, and try the recipe (link above).

But we're not done yet! Here's a sneak peek into 417 Cooking Class for May… we will be featuring chef Peter Tinson from Gallery Bistro. The four-course meal chef Tinson will be featuring is grilled beef yakitori with ginger sauce, blueberry balsamic dressed field greens, bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin with jalapeño onion jam, and flourless chocolate mocha cake. I’m curious to find out more about jalapeño onion jam…. Can’t wait!

Call us at 417-883-7417 when you receive the May magazine, because we know you don’t want to miss out on 417 Cooking Class in May!
