Time to Register
The Our Wedding Story contest was created to give all 417-land grooms- and brides-to-be a chance to have their wedding featured in 417 Bride. Nearly 30 couples decided to take a chance, and a team of judges narrowed the list to five finalists. Next we let you all vote for your favorite, and Bethany LaCavera and Brandon Dhondt won the contest.

When it came to registering, we both agreed we didn't need much. We have both been living on our own for years and have enough stuff for three households. I think we even have five slow cookers! We had a very small registry for the wedding, but our bridal shower was a little more us. My mom and sister found a lady who does something similar to Tupperware parties but with Dove chocolate. So the guests came to the shower and viewed my wish list. (Which was basically the entire Dove catalogue!) During the shower, we all tried the yummy chocolates. Guests ordered some for themselves and some for us. I think it was the best bridal shower ever. As for things on our registry, we didn't really need any of it. We were much happier with the chocolate!
