Month in Review: January
January was, appropriately, a new beginning here at the 417 Blog. We ramped up our content (we hope you like!) and promise even cooler things will burst on the scene in Febaruary. Be sure to add us to your "Favorites" tab, or your personal site's blogroll.
• We highlighted the best of the January 417 Magazine.
• Downtown lost a favorite retailer.
• We chewed over the potential for less-than-satisfactory food options at the Springfield-Branson National Airport's new terminal.
• Aww, what a cute baby!
• A local girl done (and married) good and her World Series hero hubby turned up in San Diego magazine.
• The south side is losing some high-profile businesses.
• The News-Leader made KU's basketball coach sweat (a little... maybe).
• We started our 64 Greatest Things voting campain. You should vote.
• Little Bunny Foo-Foo turned up on our Cooking Class Menu. Delish!
• We started posting recipes! And recipes and recipes and recipes and recipes and recipes.
• A couple of 417-landers told us about their Inauguration Day experiences in D.C.
• A number of sad partings at KOLR10 and KSFX.
• January decided to act like... you know, January.
• Our most recent contest winner won a Sweetheart of a deal.
