Last year, Springfield hosted its first annual Self-Employment in the Arts Conference (SEA).  Based on the tremendous turnout last year, we feel this event is something people are interested in.  Thus, we are out in full force this year promoting this wonderful conference.  There are only seven SEA Conferences held in the US and Springfield is lucky enough to have one! And we're involved!

The mission of the SEA conference is to provide educational resources to help aspiring artists gain the entrepreneurial knowledge and skills needed to establish and maintain a career as an independent artist.

This conference is for individuals involved in all forms of art including literary, visual, and performing arts.

The unique thing about this year’s conference is that our team was able to meet with the Kay Osborne, the conference manager, and develop a track specifically geared toward those interested in becoming autonomous musicians.
