July 4: Feeling Patriotic? We've got you covered
July 4: Feeling Patriotic? We've got you covered

It's the 4th of July. Perhaps you have your own family activities planned, and that's awesome. If you don't, and would like to hit up a public party, here are a few options:

1. Branson is alight with fireworks tonight, with displays planned in Kimberling City, Big Cedar Lodge and the city of Hollister. It's an annual tradition, and organizers typically plan it so that folks on the lake (or driving around near the lake) can catch all three shows in a limited time span.

2. The Texas Leage playoff-bound Springfield Cardinals are in town tonight to take on the Frisco RoughRiders at 7:10 p.m. Catch the most American of games, and stick around for the post-game fireworks display.

3. Historic Midtown is holding its annual 4th of July Parade today starting at 10 a.m. The route (we think) goes from up Benton Avenue from Central Street, east on Calhoun to Washington, up Washington to Division and eventually ends at Washington Park. Check out the Midtown website for more.

Have fun, and be safe this 4th of July!
