Location Location Location
From Bethany:
Brandon and I went to look at Samuel Cedars and fell in love with location. We were ready to put our date on the books, but then we found out our exact date had been booked by another couple that morning!
I was crushed; it was perfect and exactly what we both wanted. When we got back into the car after we visited Samuel Cedars, Brandon knew how upset I was. He said he could make that area, or an even better one, for me on his property. I was elated! (In case you haven’t noticed from all of these blogs yet, I have the sweetest, most caring guy in the world!)
Since Brandon has done most of the work in the area, he’s going to take over telling you about it now…
From Brandon:
Though the area I had in mind would be perfect, I knew it wasn’t going to be easy. The area was covered in trees and in no way suitable for a wedding. I started by cutting down a bunch of trees. Next I had to work the ground to make it work for setting up chairs. With the help of family and friends in nearly a 10 month effort, what was once a forest was turned into an outside wedding chapel. I built an arbor that Bethany and I will be standing on as we say our vows.
We labeled the location of our wedding “Our future front porch” because it is right in the vicinity of where we will build our future home. The cleared out area will be our front yard, and where the arbor sits will be where our front porch will be.
From Bethany:
Brandon is being so modest, so I’m going to be completely honest. The wedding area is amazing! Any bride would be desperate to get married there, so it means so much more to me knowing how he did all of the work to make our wedding so special. I know you will all be shocked when you see the pictures of how beautiful the area is!
