Springfield in today's Wall Street Journal for investment in ailing skyscraper project
We're going to let the story do the talking here, but the gist is that Springfield is making headlines in New York for the wrong reasons. Apparently the city's depleted police-fire pension fund—along with almost 300 other U.S. pension funds, endowments and similar investment pools—was an investor in a stagnated Times Square skyscraper projecct. Of course we know what happened to the commercial real-estate market...
