A Cooking Class classic

We had a wonderful 417 Cooking Class last night with Chef Johnson Tan of 5 Spice China Grill. We all left stuffed from the wonderful food and wowed by all the beautiful presentations! One of Johnson’s recipes was one of the easiest recipes we’ve ever seen for 417 Cooking Class, but super-tasty nonetheless. It was the recipe for cinnamon and sugar coated donuts. Click here to check it out for yourself! (Photo on this page). No reason you can't do that at home!

We normally let you simmer until the magazine arrives in your mailbox to find out who the chef will be for 417 Cooking Class, but why make you wait?  417 Cooking Class for April will feature chef Marc Giacin from Mille’s Turn of the Century Cafe. The four-course meal chef Giacin is planning features is sweet potato bisque, Asian steak and watercress salad with hoison vinaigrette, tenderloin of beef medallions with dijon port reduction, and a chocolate soufflé. Yum! Look for recipes when our April magazine goes online in a week or so.

Call us at 417-883-7417 when you receive the April magazine, because we know you don’t want to miss out on 417 Cooking Class!
