Arts in Action: The 10 Weeks Festival—Week 3

From March 14 through May 31, local arts organizations and creative groups are teaming up for a promotional and fund-raising blitz known as Arts In Action: The 10 Weeks Festival. GO Magazine is proud to be a media partner for this festival. To keep you informed, we've invited Leah Hamilton Jenkins, Arts In Action chairperson for the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, to write a weekly blog updating you on fundraising progress and—most importantly—all the great stuff going on as part of the festival. Take it away, Leah.

With now two weeks under our proverbial belts, Arts in Action has raised $2,370.07  (yes, even pennies count) to go towards the Arts in Education Fund and the Care to Learn Fund, which help with artistic and basic immediate needs such as health, hunger and hygiene to our local pubic school children.

There is something for everyone featured during Week #3 of Arts in Action: The 10 Weeks Festival. Check out what events you can attend this weekend to give your $1 to the funds above:

See you at the theatres this week!
