Bad Benjamins
Bad Benjamins

Interesting drama out of Nixa. The following from the Nixa Xpress (and reporter Ryan Bowling) via the Nixa Chamber.

"The Nixa Police Department has called on the Secret Service to investigate the circulation of counterfeit money around Nixa. Nixa Det. Graham Applegate said the department has gathered as much information as it can and has called on the Feds for assistance.

"It's a really good counterfeit," Applegate said of the bills the department has picked up.

So far only three instances of counterfeit money have been confirmed, but Applegate said it's important that all Nixa businesses watch for more. All three cases have used identical $100 bills."

The story, which you can read here, goes on to list ways in which you can spot fake bills.

Hat tip to Dylan for the story.
