Air it out
Air it out

If you haven't bought your tickets for the Branson Airshow, a three-day festival at the new Branson Airport, you should probably do so now. The guests of honor are the USAF Thunderbirds, along with the US Army Golden Knights and many others.

May 8: This evening performance will feature acts of derring do in the twilight.

May 9-10: The Thunderbirds perform, as well as the Golden Knights and a host of other stunt flyers.

Click here for more on the show.

Click here to buy and print your tickets. Admission is $16-$18 at the gate ($5-$6 for children).

Reasons to go:

• It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. If you haven't seen a big-time air show before, this is a great opportunity to do so right in our own back yard. We're super-excited to see the jets of the Thunderbirds flying low over the Ozarks hills.

• It's a good way to get a gander at the new Branson Airport immediately prior to its opening. You never know—maybe the airlines will be offering some giveaways or discounts. Couldn't hurt to check...

• Score points with mom or dad, grandma or grandpa. The greatest generation loves them some planes, and there'll be plenty to see. Make it an early Christmas present or just some bonding time.
