Need a Supernanny?
By now you know all about 417-land's penchant for producing reality TV stars. The latest opportunity won't bring you fame and fortune, but it might earn you or a loved one a little more familial harmony.

KSPR has announced that a casting session for ABC's prime-time "kids gone wild" program Supernanny—the one where the British lass comes into the home and tries to whip everyone into shape, especially dad—will hold a casting call with producers tomorrow, Saturday, May 17, at Battlefield Mall. The session lasts from noon until 4 p.m. in mall atrium near J.C. Penney's (east entrance, just off Glenstone). The complete press release follows below, but here's the good stuff:

"Producers are searching for families with unique interests and parents who have ordinary and extraordinary circumstances, teen moms, parents         with mean girls or bullying boys, culturally diverse parents, and blended families where both sides are seeking help. Producers are looking for                 families from every type of background, and ready for the opportunity of a lifetime—a visit from America’s number one nanny, Jo Frost!"

No offense, but those of us without kids, or ones already grown, will probably be about a million miles from the mall tomorrow. But good luck!

KSPR-TV is proud to announce the casting team of ABC’s popular parenting series SUPERNANNY is searching for Springfield families to be on the brand new fifth season of the hit show. KSPR and Producers from Ricochet Television will host an open casting call this Saturday, May 17th from 12:00PM to 4:00PM at Battlefield Mall (JCPenney East Court Entrance, 2825 S. Glenstone Avenue, Springfield, MO 65804).

Producers are searching for families with unique interests and parents who have ordinary and extraordinary circumstances, teen moms, parents with mean girls or bullying boys, culturally diverse parents, and blended families where both sides are seeking help. Producers are looking for families from every type of background, and ready for the opportunity of a lifetime—a visit from America’s number one nanny, Jo Frost!

Jo Frost’s expert behavioral techniques and caring ease with children make SUPERNANNY a hit with the audience every week. Her newest book, “ASK SUPERNANNY” is an international best seller and follows up her first book “SUPERNANNY: HOW TO GET THE BEST FROM YOUR KIDS,” which spent several months on the New York Times best seller list.

In each episode of the series airing Wednesday nights this season on KSPR-TV, ABC, Jo Frost’s recipe of common sense behavior techniques mixed with expert parenting advice is put to the test. Please contact Addie Ferber, Promotion Manager, KSPR, 417-864-3348, aferber@kspr.com for more information on Saturday’s event. Interested families can also log on to www.kspr.com for more information.
