Arts In Action: The 10 Weeks Festival—Week No. 10
I was remembering today my first experience of live theatre. My grandparents took me to see Annie Get Your Gun at the Lyceum Theatre in Arrow Rock, Missouri. I was mesmerized by the performers. I wanted to be strong like Annie and definitely wanted to have a pair of boots like her. When I left the theatre that night, I felt inspired and just down right in a good mood.

Many children and young adults in Springfield have never had the experience of seeing a live production. They have never seen the curtain go up and the stage come alive, taking each audience member to a completely different world for a few short hours.

By just giving $1 this week, you could help provide a child with their first unforgettable experience of attending live theatre as well as help meet some of their basic needs too. We currently have raised $8,234  for the Arts in Education Fund and the Care to Learn Fund.
