Ever your helpful 417-land magazine, here are a few options for brunch and

• Bring your mom to the Dickerson Park Zoo from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday, May 10, to celebrate with the animals. Mothers get in for free; $7/adults; $5/children 3-12. Call (417) 864-1800 for more information. [From the Springfield-Greene County Park Board.]

• In Springfield, the Ramada Oasis Convention Center is hosting a brunch featuring crab legs and Springfield–style cashew chicken. It's from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and reservations are recommended (417-522-7711).

• Branson's IMAX Entertainment Complex is offering a free ticket to an IMAX "adventure" film, and a free slice of pie at McFarlain's Family Restaurant.

• Get a free appetizer at Montant Mike's in Branson.

• Riverside Inn's annual Mother's Day buffet is a classic. Give them a call (417-581-7051) and see if there's time to get a last-minute seating.

• Chateau on the Lake is having a Mother's Day Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Cheateau Grille. It's $36.95 for adults, $18.95 for kids. Reservations are recommended (417-334-1161).

• At the Outback Steak and Oyster Bar in Branson, mom will get free flowers, a framed photo of the family, and 50 percent off her meal.

• At Luigi's Pizza Kitchen, mom eats free ($7.99 or less).
