UPDATE: Word from Metro management is there's an after-concert party at Metropolitan Grill.
We're going to try something a little new around these parts: We hope you'll want to play along.
Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, we'll be LIVE-BLOGGING (at least second-hand) the Eagles Concert at the new JQH Arena. 417 staffers lucky enough to nab tickets will start the updates, but we want you, our readers, to chime in as well.
It's pretty easy. Just send your tips and observations via cell phone to matt@417mag.com. I'll gather the comments as quickly as I can, and post them to the 417 Blog. Those of you listening to CDs at home, you can keep track of the fun as long as the tips keep coming in. Cool?
Now for a bit of a tutorial:
Bad comment: "Did you know 'Hotel California' is about drugs?"
Good comment: "Hey! Some woman just flashed Joe Walsh!"
Better comment: "Hey! Joe Walsh just flashed some woman!"
Keep them short and interesting. Tell us about the venue, the crowd, the band and the experience.
