How They Met:
Everything started with a sweet smilin’, beautiful singin’, incredibly talented instrumentalist named Matt Gumm. Matt is a performer in Branson, and I fell in love with him the first time I saw him on stage! I happened to already have a connection to the show, my daddy is also the piano player and musical director! Matt and I were friends for a couple of years before we even began dating.
The Proposal:
On June 2, 2009, at a quaint restaurant in Branson, Matt proposed. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant, which stayed open after hours just for us! There were 200 beautiful pink roses and a single table for two positioned right as I walked in. Later, I also found out there was a camera capturing every moment! Matt knelt on one knee and expressed his love and adoration, and with tear filled eyes I said “yes!”
