November 13: It's Beerfest Weekend!
It’s the event we’ve been waiting for: Ozarks Beerfest, a weekend-long drink-a-thon in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Tonight at Springfield Brewing Company from 6 to 9 p.m., you can hobnob with VIPs and sample some brews. Then, tomorrow at the Shrine Mosque from 2 to 5 p.m., you’ll sample a wide variety of micro and craft brews, enjoy food and music from two of our favorites (Pearl and Sequel Dose) and have an all around good time. Prior to THAT, from 1 to 2 p.m., there’s a VIP reception—a $55 VIP ticket will get you into every event the weekend has to offer. Patrons Party tickets are $30 by themselves. If you just want to go to Beerfest on Saturday, tickets are $35 at Price Cutter, Brew Co., The Home Brewery (in Ozark), Kaleidoscope or at bigbro.com.
