October 17: The Symphony's Sounds of Satchmo

The great Louis Armstrong is the subject of tonight’s swing-heavy arrangement from the Springfield Symphony. The first of their Pops series for 2009-10, they’ll take on the great Armstrong songs, including “Honeysuckle Rose” and “What a Wonderful World.” Tickets are $17-$32. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the performing arts.

Had a great and fabulous time last year when i took my friend kelly to see the holiday christmas performance
especially at that time of the year to get a person into the holiday cheer!!!
