October 27: Trick-or-Treat at the zoo

One of the safest and most famous trick-or-treating outings in 417-land is at Dickerson Park Zoo. The annual Spooktacular features tons of decorations and candy for the kids. There are also games and treats for kids 12 and younger. The fun is October 22-31, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. each night. Dickerson Park Zoo is located at 3043 N.
