October 30: Two cities, two fancy Halloween parties
The fancy Halloween partys this year happen on Friday night. In Springfield, the spot is Zan Nightclub. Hallowish, benefiting the local Make A Wish chapter, is a drink-and-hors d’oeuvres festival. It’s $50 per person, but you’re paying for a good cause here. The fun starts at 7 p.m. at Zan; learn more at mo.wish.org.
In Branson, it’s the Titanic Halloween Masquerade. As a way to celebrate the history of the ship, and the spirit of those who were on her, Titanic is throwing a dinner party. It runs from 6 to 10 p.m., and the $60 per person includes dinner (catered by Touch Restaurant) and presentations that tell theories of the ship’s tragedy and tales that still shroud the ship in mystery to this day.
