October 7: Drury Theater presents Hedda Gabler

The opening show of Drury University’s theatre season could be called the precursor to Desperate Housewives. First written in 1891, it’s about a scandal-averse woman who stays in a bad marriage for the sake of appropriateness. Drama ensues. Drury has a quality theatre department, so do check it out. Tickets are $5-$10, show starts at 8 p.m.
