Three great deals: Flame, Gallery Bistro, Panera
The following info went out this morning in our 417 Table Talk weekly e-newsletter. If you don't subscribe, you really should. But because we love you (and this information) here's the scoop.
If a tasty dinner at Gallery Bistro sounds like music to your ears, wait until you hear about this offer for Saturday night.
Gallery chef Peter Tinson has arranged a special Chef’s Symphony Dinner to celebrate the Springfield Symphony Orchestra’s 75th season. Prior to the orchestra’s 7:30 p.m. performance, “Sounds of Satchmo” at Hammons Hall, you can enjoy a four-course meal (with your choice of tenderloin or tilapia entrée) for just $34.75 per person plus tax. Included in the meal is Gallery Bistro’s popular mushroom sage soup and champagne cake with raspberry puree. Diners will also receive a welcoming glass of champagne at the Gallery Viewing: a display of historic symphony and Springfield Little Theatre press items from throughout the years.
It’s a nice bit of synergy between a downtown restaurant and arts organization… but remember to make your reservations in time to get to Hammons Hall by 7:30.
Also, we’d be fools not to tell you about the deal TONIGHT at Flame Steakhouse. The downtown restaurant is celebrating its fifth anniversary with—get this—two-for-one steaks. Mention their e-mail special. If you aren’t a meat eater (hey, it’s okay), you can still join the party from 9 p.m. to midnight downstairs in the Red Room. They’ll be serving hors d’oeuvres and martinis. Delicious!
And just in on deadline: Today is Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks day at the Panera Bread location on East Battlefield (at Delaware). Mention BCFO and a portion of your breakfast, lunch or dinner will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
But, really... if you'd subscribe to Table Talk you would have gotten this hours ago...
