Description
We currently have an opening for an Advertising Designer. The person in this position will be expected to produce effective, high quality print and digital advertisements while providing excellent customer service in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
Essential Functions of this Role:
• Work with internal teammates, including account executive(s) and account coordinator, to produce high quality advertisements for all client initiatives
• Design advertisements in all publications and online under direction of art director. Including, but not limited to: print ads, special sections, targeted display ads, digital impressions, and specialty web ads
• Write and source copy for advertisements including creative headlines, when needed
• Create advertising campaigns
• Assist with photoshoots, as needed
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) system to document and receive direction
• Maintain knowledge of CRM to constantly improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Assist with proof and upload process for print publications
• Meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
The ideal candidate will excel in professional communication, have a strong attention to detail, demonstrate good judgment and the ability to evaluate tasks and prioritize effectively, excellent design skills, visual creativity, and strong understanding of typography.
A Bachelor's degree in graphic design, related field, and/or related on-the-job experience required. Ideal candidate would have 1–3 years of previous experience as well.
Evaluations and Outcomes:
• The position will be evaluated after 90 days with reviews three times per year.
