The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all company financial activities.

• Actively contribute to and participate in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. Champion the Great Game of Business financial operating system.
• Guide the company to improve efficiencies, strategic revenue focus, overall growth and improve profitability.
• Oversee and track the annual budget and pacing for improved business intelligence and profitability.
• Prepare for financial review meetings, set the agenda, provide resources and information to help the team carry out the annual budget.
• Handle and/or review payment of credit cards and accounts payable including credit card reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain a consistently successful invoicing and accounts receivable collections program. Maintain positive, long-term business relationships with our clients.
• Proactively use the CRM platform for collections and ensure accurate client data and contract accuracy.
• Handle commission report monthly and payroll memo bi-weekly.
• Manage company benefits and insurance.
• Work closely with the Remote CFO on major financial projects.
• Maximize CRM system and accounting software to the fullest of its abilities for internal efficiency by always adapting to new technology as it becomes available. Update processes and procedures, as needed

Education Requirements and Work Experience:
• Associates in a Business Related Field
• 5+ years work experience

Skills and Strengths:
• Strategic with long term and holistic thinking about revenue, expenses and strategic budgeting tactics
• Data driven with the ability to analyze, and most importantly, understand financials. Data must be used to tell a story, fuel strategic thinking and optimize profitability.
• Relationship driven with strong communication skills. Solid working relationship with (and the respect of) the clients and internal teams.
• Revenue and results driven to understand the importance of tracking all efforts to results, metrics and ultimately, revenue.
• Proven knowledge in financial reporting and analytics
• High skill level in Excel and Quickbooks (or similar platform)
• Experience working in a CRM
• Organizational skills and is detailed oriented
• Intrinsic motivation to work independently yet still be a team player
• Comfort with following direction and receiving feedback as required
• Management of a workload with multiple projects and competing deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills that strike a balance of highly assertive and super charismatic

• Critical thinking, negotiation, decision making and problem solving skills

Evaluations and Outcomes:
• The position will be evaluated after 90 days with reviews every 120 days.

Environmental Requirements:
• Mainly sedentary in an office environment with the exception of event days
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
• May be required to lift up to thirty (30) pounds
• Flexible in working extended hours.
