Everyone loves a good love story. That’s why The Fantasticks is the perfect choice for a romantic date night this month. The plot of this 1960 musical revolves around a boy and a girl whose instant infatuation is soon overshadowed by flaws in their relationship. As a couple (and notwithstanding comical interruptions from their meddling fathers), they must learn to overcome adversity if they want to be together forever. Though this musical opened more than 50 years ago, its message of perseverance in the face of heartache is still relevant today.
