About This Event
Farley Lewis, an award-winning artist who grew up in Springfield, Missouri, enjoys capturing the effects of light in landscapes. Working mainly in acrylics, he also paints murals and teaches painting and drawing classes.
“When I look down a beautiful creek at sunset, and watch the play of light on the ripples, something comes alive in me, something I try to capture for others. That is my joy as an artist. I believe beauty is powerful, whether in a painting, a song, a Savior or a well-planned city. Good paintings are far more than pretty décor – they have power to create atmosphere, awaken dreams, and even stir a sleeping heart to life.”
Come by and visit with Farley during First Friday Art Walk. Farley will also be hosting a reception Saturday, April 6th, 3-6pm. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres by Kelly, and catch up with friends in the newly-painted Fresh Gallery.
