About This Event
For participants age 8 and older. Join us for a morning hike followed by an afternoon scenic train ride through the Ozarks fall colors. We will start our day with an easy 2-mile scenic hike at Hobbs State Park. The hike will include amazing bluff views, spurs to the Beaver Lake shoreline and disappearing streams into the Ozark rock.
After the hike, we will head to the train station and relax with a roundtrip around the Ozark mountains. This scenic tour goes at a leisurely pace for amazing views of the fall colors and surrounding landscape. You will for sure leave refreshed after a day outside and astounded by how beautiful the Ozarks backyard really is after seeing it from a totally new perspective.
Registration includes transportation, expert guide, and train ticket. For participants age 8 and older.
Wear comfortable athletic or hiking clothing, hiking boots or sturdy shoes, hat/gloves, and layers to be prepared for Ozarks weather!
Bring a backpack, water, snacks, and lunch for the day, and hiking poles and camera if you'd like.
