About This Event

Bob and Una Walkenhorst are a father-daughter duo from Kansas City, Missouri. Bob Walkenhorst is known around the US as lead singer and songwriter for the critically acclaimed band The Rainmakers. 2019 finds Bob collaborating with his daughter Una, a singer-songwriter in her own right, from her 2014 release “Scars,” to her recent years as part of the New Orleans indie music scene. Their common love of traditional songs and 2-part harmony is bringing about new songs, new visions, and new recordings. Their album “For Tomorrow” was released in October 2018. The title track was named 2018 Song of the Year by Kansas City’s top alternative station 90.9 The Bridge. Joining Bob & Una for their Rock House show will be cellist Sascha Groschang.

Join us for an intimate night of music. Doors open at 6:30 for a potluck dinner, b.y.o.b. social time.

Music begins at 8:00 for the listening room concert. First come, first serve on seating. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at or at the door.

Please park across the street in the parking lot or anywhere downtown. Our backyard parking is reserved for the band and handicap parking.
