About This Event
The BEE is back just for the SPELL of it!
It has been 20 years since we hosted a spelling bee and we think it is time to bring it back! This FUNdraiser will be on the beautiful forth floor “ballroom” at the Discovery Center. Teams of three compete to spell interesting words from literature and local colloquialisms to win it all and bring home the championship trophy! Costumes are encouraged, BEE unique. Spectators have the chance to assist their favorite team by buying a word for them or sending a Stinger to an opposing team.
