About This Event
Summer Stages – Session II will teach acting basics through theatre games & improvisation, scene-work, musical theatre song & dance, and offer students an opportunity to present a free informal performance for their parents and friends on the Landers stage on the final day of the workshop. Participants who love visual art will also have fun with themed craft projects, as well as creating their own headshot display and scenic elements for their show!
Students in Summer Stages – Session II will tackle material from and inspired by The Greatest Showman! In honor of the imagination of P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original movie musical that celebrates the birth of show business & tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.
“Come alive! Light your light and let it burn so bright” at Springfield Little Theatre’s Summer Stages – Session II: The Greatest Showman!
