About This Event
Temple Israel is hosting its 15th Annual Art Fest fundraiser from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 5910 S. Farm Rd. 193. This event is open to the public and admission is free. On display will be art of various media available for purchase; woodworking, pottery, jewelry, painting, textiles, Jewish books and southwest Missouri's largest collection of Judaic items.
We will be offering sandwiches of pastrami on rye, corned beef on rye, and lox, bagel and cream cheese at our deli. Locally sourced meats will be used in the deli in our effort to preserve the planet. Be sure to sample one of our home-baked cheesecakes. There will be a bake sale featuring home-baked Jewish breads and pastries, such as challah, strudel, rugelach, mandel bread and hamentashen to take home or eat on the spot. Bid on your choice of items at the silent auction table. Take a tour of the sanctuary with Rabbi Block. Music will be provided by our talented guitarist Dan Weinhaus.
