Sales Coordinator

FourOneSeven is a regional lifestyle company in southwest Missouri. The multimedia company owns and produces 417 Magazine, Biz 417, 417mag.com, biz417.com, 417 Custom Publishing and high impact thought leadership events.

Four One Seven is looking for a Sales Coordinator to  support the Owner/Publisher and Advertising Director by ensuring the smooth, organized, and efficient operation of the sales function. This role bridges strategy and execution — keeping meetings, proposals, systems, and fulfillment on track so leadership can focus on growth, relationships, and results. The Sales Coordinator creates clarity, consistency, and follow-through across departments, ensuring our sales engine runs with excellence and accountability.

Additional duties include:

Executive & Sales Support
• Partner with the Owner/Publisher and Advertising Director to manage day-to-day sales operations and priorities.
• Coordinate, schedule, and prepare for internal and client meetings, ensuring materials and proposals are accurate and polished.
• Track action items and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Build, update, and format sales proposals, presentations, and reports.
• Maintain updated rate sheets, fulfillment details, and product information across all systems.

Systems, Process & Data Management
• Serve as the go-to for maintaining accuracy in MediaOS, client data, and tracking systems.
• Monitor pacing, renewals, and revenue reports; flag trends and opportunities.
• Partner with finance and account services to keep contracts, collections, and fulfillment aligned.
• Ensure accountability systems and reporting processes are current, efficient, and clearly documented.
• Manage updates to sales materials and collateral in collaboration with design and marketing teams.

Cross-Department Collaboration
• Act as the communication bridge between sales, creative, production, and finance to keep campaigns moving smoothly.
• Coordinate rollout efforts for new issues, events, and special projects to ensure all teams have the resources they need.
• Support new account executive onboarding with tools, process training, and system guidance.
• Oversee client communication logistics (e-blasts, updates, notices) in partnership with internal teams.

The ideal candidate will excel in professional communication, have a strong attention to detail, demonstrate good judgment and the ability to evaluate tasks and prioritize effectively, excellent design skills, visual creativity, and strong understanding of typography.

Evaluations and Outcomes
• The position will be evaluated after 90 days followed by annual performance appraisals.

Working Conditions
• Normal working conditions in an office environment absent extreme factors. Travel will be required, even after hours or on weekends, for local community events.
