Sunset to Burns, On Up Again
Sunset to Burns hits a home run with their new EP.
Dec 12 2016 at 3:31 p.m.
Springfield country/rock/bluegrass quintet Sunset to Burns has been rocking regional stages and festivals since 2011. The group’s upcoming EP combines its signature bluegrass and country feels with nods to other genres. It also maintains its old country integrity and avoids the “Top 40” feel. From the downtrodden “Like Water and Whiskey” to the dance floor-burning title track, Sunset to Burns hits a home run. The group celebrates the release, On Up Again, Saturday night at Patton Alley Pub. The show starts at 9:30 p.m. with Cowgirl’s Train Set from Lawrence, Kansas. The EP is being printed to CD and tape. It will be available Thursday on most digital outlets.
